At Starville, we believe that there are 6 types of learners.

 

Analytic learners

 

Focuses on the details of language like grammar rules and taking apart words and sentences. They respond well to well-structured lessons and activties which involves thinking such as puzzles.

 

Auditory learners

 

Learns best by listening to spoken instructions and listening to stories and songs.

 

Global learners

 

Focuses on the whole picture and do not care so much about specific details. They do not want to get bored with slow moving lessons and enjoy interesting materials. Global learners respond well to games and action based activities.

 

Kinesthetic learners

 

Learn by physically moving around and respond well to movement activities and songs with gestures.

 

Tactile learners

 

Learn physically by touching and manipulating objects. They respond well to craft activities and songs with gestures.

 

Visual learners

           

Learns best by looking, which includes reading and seeing pictures.
